Great article.  I can see you put a lot of work into it.

Of the changes you talked about above, I&#039;d say that &quot;gating content&quot; is going to cause the biggest changes.  In response, I think we&#039;re going to see an increase in game mechanics that reward players for having larger active networks.

An example is Mafia War&#039;s  &quot;Declare War&quot; mechanics that is currently testing in BETA mode.  You declare war on another player and it is up to your mafia to defeat the other player.
