Fritz is a native Southern Californian who
grew up in the Crenshaw district of Los Angeles and now lives in Orange County.
Finally retiring in 2001, he pursued some of his interests in the arts,
exploring water colors and photography. But he became most passionate about
poetry. Some selected works can be found on this website.
Fritz is active in his community, assisting
entrepeneurs in developing business plans, working on behalf of his church,
bike riding, square dancing, travelling and enjoying time with his wife
Patricia and his four grandchildren.
Fritz's poetry was first published in "Refractions
of Life: A Poetry Anthology." The book is anthology of original poems from
members of the Continued Learning Experience class at California State
University, Fullerton, entitled "Poetry for Pleasure." And Fritz's first
reading was March 21, 2004 at the Borders in Brea, CA.
